As you can see from the title, this is part two of a post that I wrote in January of this year. Over the past few weeks since publishing that post, I have had additional thoughts about the subject of making friends as an adult, that I wanted to voice.

On Friday it was my birthday. I'm not one to be the centre of attention so don't really do big parties or gatherings for it. One time a few years ago a couple of my friends threw me a small three-person (including me) birthday celebration which they did about two weeks before my birthday and they made me believe it was just going to be an afternoon of catching up. Very sneaky but it was unbelievably nice of them to do that.

I can't remember when I last won something. I remember winning a huge stuffed toy rabbit when I was younger, that thing was almost as tall as me at around four foot I think it was. I won it in a raffle at my Grandma's church.

A couple of months ago at work, the manager told me that he was nominating me for the company's first-ever employee of the Month for our store.
