Having a Work Routine Again
On April 19th I returned to work after the UK’s third lockdown. This recent one was the toughest yet, and not just on myself and those that I have talked with over the last few months have all agreed with me. In Lancashire, we had the toughest restrictions outside of the national lockdowns meaning that we have effectively been in lockdown since March 23, 2020, when the first national one was announced.
Being back at work the past few weeks have been a shock to the system and for quite a few nights I’ve been in bed before 9 pm!! Over the last few months, I was staying up until 10.30 or 11 pm because there was no real need for me to get up in the morning, and I would then have the most chill morning before doing some work on my Instagram and blog for a few hours in the afternoon.
In my most recent blog post, I share more news about my job, but I’ve really missed having to get up and leave the house five days a week as well as speaking to multiple people daily. I knew that it would be tougher this time due to me not being able to get to sleep as well the past few months, but I also have a lot of new information to learn and knowledge to retain.
