The Blurt Self-Careathon Challenge Is Over

Most of the posts were pre-planned with handwritten notes along with some additional basic points that I wanted to say and which image I wanted to use.  Most images were ones I have taken myself, a couple, however, were sourced from Google images.  Because I started the challenge late and as I didn't want to feel overstretched to post daily, I would write up a handful of posts on my days off, using my handwritten notes.  I would then schedule the posts to go up at 8 am each morning on consecutive days.

While I was typing up my notes though, I discovered that I was typing other things I'd not written about in my notes.  I found out that I had much more to say about the prompt for that day than I thought.  Often it was something that I myself needed to hear myself.  Isn't that the way through, when we start writing about our mental health, and our struggles, we do it to hopefully help other people with their battles wherever they are on their path, but we inevitably end up helping ourselves as well.  Bonus.

I have really enjoyed doing the challenge and I already have a few more ideas for other things to write about.  Some will be things that are going on with my life, the things I see and do, places I go and general observations and thoughts as well as things I have learnt along the way on my journey. I would just like to take the opportunity to thank you all for reading the posts that I have written so far.  I had no idea if anyone else would ever read these, and to see that in my stats I'm being read as far away as the USA, and I had one read in Peru, wow!  That's amazing and I am so grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I hope you stick with me past the #blurtselfcareathon challenge as I am aiming to write a new blog weekly to go up on Sunday mornings, 8 am GMT, we shall see how I go.
