What do I treasure?
A few things I treasure are solitude, a quiet and slow morning, time to decompress at the end of the day, time with family and friends, time with my friend's children, time to drink my brew and write in my journal in the morning before work.
What are my treasures? Some are my journals, the photo’s I’ve taken that remind me of thing’s I’ve done and the place’s I’ve been and thing’s I’ve seen, the last cards my dad’s mum sent me before she passed away, the perfect gifts friends have found and sent to me, (on one occasion, going on a huge hunt for a packet of Lululemon cards -which are no longer made- like the one she has, because she knew they’d be perfect for me)
One person’s trash is someone else's treasure or something. One of the good things about charity shops is you donate all the things you no longer want, need or things that no longer fill you with joy, and someone else finds it, loves it and treasures it. the second thing, is you get to help a charity.
