Goals For 2019

I've never been a fan of new year's resolutions. The odd time I made some in the past, I ended up either forgetting them or breaking them, so instead for many years, I've set myself goals that I would like to achieve that year. I thought that this was a much better idea and over the years I have accomplished many goals.  Like;

Learning to drive.

Passing my driving test.

Beginning a yoga practice.

Creating a healthy eating plan.

Lost some weight.

Started a de-clutter and clear out of my spaces in my home.

Planned a solo holiday.

Booked a solo holiday.

Went on a solo holiday.

I drove more.

At the end of each year I evaluate how I did at achieving my goals, some years I do better than others. Then I think about where I'd like to be in twelve months time. What life would I like to be living, where would I like to be, what do I want my life to look like?

This year's goals are ;

Look at my health and wellness – get back to having a yoga practice, look at my snacks and evening meals and how can I make them healthier?

Addressing my anxiety and reducing it.

Read more (two books a month).

Finish my de-cluttering and organizing.

Look at my finances.

I have broken down the de-cluttering one into smaller steps so it's not so overwhelming and can be done in small stages like when I started it last year. It's mainly my bedroom that I need to de-clutter this year so I have broken it down into areas or zones so I won't be overwhelmed by having to de-clutter my whole room all at once. Most of it was done last year so it's mainly just a matter of the areas I didn't get round to doing; the top of my wardrobe, under my bed and sorting out my paperwork.

What are some of your goals for 2019?
