Animals

I don't have any pets as my landlord won't allow them. Well, that's not strictly true, as my previous housemate had a snake and he didn't mind that. Me on the other hand, I'm not a fan of snakes...

The only animals in my life, therefore, are the magpies who roost in nearby trees, the wild birds in my garden and there are dozens of them nesting in the shrubs in between my garden and the house next door. There is also a robin that visits my garden regularly.

In a local park, there are ducks and swans, seen here on a nearby canal.

Growing up I always wanted a cat, but it turns out that I'm allergic. One of my friends has a cat who I've got used to over the last few years and I'm only round at hers a few hours every few months or so, so my allergies don't really bother me that much, fortunately.

One day I would like a dog.
