Lemons

When life gives you lemons; make lemonade.

That's the saying, isn't it? There are probably a few variations but that's the one I know. Lemons are sour so by adding sugar to them you make them sweet. Therefore, when things aren't going how you'd like, look at what you can do to change things and make them better.

Or, think of the different way's lemons can be used. Lemon drizzle cake, lemon meringue pie, a slice of lemon in a soft drink with a mixer, lemon and sugar on pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, lemon as a cleaner, lemon curd ... lemons.
